Friends 4 The Future is a non-profit organization that wants to make sure we have a brighter future for our children and grandchildren. We have three main goals:
Many families have little to no insurance and medical expenses associated with these illnesses can be overwhelming. Autism tests $1500, Epi-Pens $100, allergy testing $250, monthly medications up to $300. This does not even include normal doctor’s costs, on average $100, or specialist costs, on average $300. These costs are staggering to families struggling to survive as it is. We cover the expenses that medical insurance does not cover.
The other problem facing families today is spaying and neutering their pets. The cost can be well over $300 and many deserving families cannot afford this. We work with vets and offer families grants that help with this expense. Our hopes are to help control the amount of unwanted pets that are destroyed every month.
Our board of directors look over every referral/application we receive and choose the medical needs that meet our programs.
